How we calculate cost per gram

We take the current retail price and divide it by the product's net weight in grams, giving a standardised unit cost that makes cross-product comparison fair regardless of package size.

What makes a beauty product clean

We score cleanliness based on the presence or absence of commonly flagged ingredients — parabens, sulphates, synthetic fragrances, phthalates, and other additives linked to skin irritation or broader health concerns.
